Gabrielle Amaturo began her fashion career at age 13 working alongside Betsey Johnson and producing NYFW runway shows. While studying in the Marist Fashion Program, Gabrielle was recognized as first-runner-up for the 2018 Liz Claiborne CFDA Scholarship Award and was selected to represent Marist in a nationally televised Good Morning America design competition. While still a student, she designed footwear for Katy Perry, and worked on runway collections for Betsey Johnson and Mara Hoffman. Since graduating from Marist in 2018 with a BFA in Fashion Design and minor in Product Development, she has developed a runway collection for Marc Jacobs, designed across all women’s RTW categories for Kenneth Cole, Kate Spade, and Adrienne Landau, as well as launching her own line under the Gabulous! brand, which stemmed from her senior thesis at Marist. Presently, Gabrielle designs women’s RTW for Michael Kors where she specializes in C&S Knits with a focus on novelty embellishments. This niche design focus evolved during her trip to Premiére Vision Paris on behalf of the Michael Kors design team in 2022.
